I grew up in the shadows of the mighty K2, in a small village nestled deep in the Karakoram Range. From a young age, the mountains weren’t just a backdrop — they were my classroom, my playground, and eventually, my livelihood.
As a high-altitude porter supporting mountaineering expeditions, I’ve spent countless nights above 5,000 meters, battling snowstorms, sleeping on ice, and helping climbers push toward their dreams. I’ve carried gear, pitched tents on exposed ridges, and witnessed firsthand what happens when your shelter fails you — and when it doesn’t.
Over the years, I’ve used nearly every kind of expedition tent out there. I’ve seen which ones hold up in brutal wind and which collapse under pressure. I’ve watched climbers debate brands, and I’ve learned what truly makes a high-altitude tent worth trusting with your life.
Everest Tents was born from that experience — not from a boardroom or a product catalog, but from years on the mountain, side by side with the world’s toughest adventurers.
This isn’t just a blog or a gear guide. It’s a mission-driven platform to help others find gear that’s been proven where it matters most: on the roof of the world.
Everest Tents exists to serve climbers, trekkers, and dreamers with honest recommendations, expert insight, and a local’s perspective — built on years of trust earned in thin air.
